Amphibious LVT ( landing Vehicle Tracked ) located by Shaun Uden of  Fish Darwin possibly used to ferry people between Mandorah ferry and the beach after the war. These vehicle were used throughout WW2 aprox 18500 were produced in several versions the East point military museum has one of these vehicles on display in quite good condition.

The vehicle is sitting upright on a rocky outcrop and is  virtually intact.
